Jennifer Martin is a Senior GxP Consultant with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, specialising in EU and UK regulatory frameworks, guidance development, and regulatory intelligence. Her career spans 12 years in GLP and GCP environments, followed by 15 years at the UK Regulatory Agency, where she served as a GCP Inspector before progressing to Lead Senior Inspector and Operations Manager.

Jennifer returned to industry as a Director of Quality prior to moving into consultancy, where she now provides pragmatic, proportionate, and solutions‑focused GxP compliance and inspection‑readiness support across innovative products, trial designs, and emerging technologies.

An experienced auditor and inspector, Jennifer has contributed to key regulatory initiatives and guidance, including the MHRA GCP Guide, the EU Clinical Trials Regulation (EU CTR), the UK Medicines & Medical Devices Act 2021, EU-exit‑related regulatory adaptations, and COVID‑19 regulatory flexibilities. She has collaborated extensively with international authorities—including the EMA and FDA—on joint presentations, development programmes, and the piloting of the joint EMA/FDA inspection initiative, as well as the UK Innovative Licensing & Access Pathway (ILAP). In her role as Operations Manager, she oversaw inspection teams and directed the risk‑based inspection programme.

During the COVID‑19 pandemic, Jennifer led the development of remote GCP inspection models to support accelerated vaccine approvals. Upon returning to industry, she was responsible for regulatory intelligence, compliance oversight, and quality impact assessments across process improvement, quality issues, and CAPA management.
