Ian Ramsay is an ex-MHRA GMDP inspector who established GxPAssure & RamsayPharma consulting to support industry with quality and compliance needs. GxPAssure’s vision is to provide pragmatic and effective support in improving quality and compliance- from audit, through improvement to regulatory approval. GxPAssure provides a turnkey solution to inspection readiness, compliance and remediation.

Ian Ramsay has extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry across a wide range of dose forms and processes. Ian has a particular focus on cell & gene therapy products, ATMPs, Biosimilars, Vaccines and Sterile Manufacturing.

Ian has a particular focus on inspection readiness and PAI readiness support and has supported many companies worldwide with first time EU and US-FDA approval.

A microbiologist with experience in Pharma and GMP/GDP Regulatory inspections, Ian can bring a wealth of knowledge to your organisation.

As an accredited LMLS (leading & managing lean sigma) Green Belt, Ian can bring a balanced and pragmatic approach to Quality and Compliance to your quality and compliance needs.

Ian Ramsay has been deemed eligible by the MHRA to act as a Compliance Monitor (CM) in MHRA’s pilot compliance monitor programme for GMP/GDP remediation supervision activities.
